The following policy outlines how we handle shipping and delivery for orders placed through megabag.ca.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Processing times may be longer for large orders, custom products, or during peak periods. You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been shipped.
2. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within Canada and the United States. For inquiries about shipping to other destinations, please contact us directly.
3. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We ship using trusted carriers. The available shipping methods and associated costs will be displayed at checkout based on your delivery address and order size. For large or bulk orders, freight shipping may be required and will be quoted separately.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Typical transit times after shipping are:
• Within Alberta: 1–3 business days
• Rest of Canada: 3–7 business days
• United States: 5–10 business days
Delivery times may be affected by carrier delays, weather, customs processing (for US shipments), or other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination. Free shipping promotions, if offered, will be clearly stated on the Site and applied automatically at checkout.
6. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed shipments once the order has been picked up by the carrier. If your shipment appears lost, please contact us and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier where possible.
7. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:
• Note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery if possible;
• Take photographs of the packaging and damaged goods; and
• Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos.
We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
8. Customs & Import Duties (US Shipments)
For shipments to the United States, the buyer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees. These charges are not included in the shipping cost shown at checkout and are collected by the carrier or customs authority upon delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
9. Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete at the time of order. We are not responsible for orders delayed or undelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the buyer. Address corrections after an order has shipped may result in additional fees.
